The goal of this class is to teach your dog how to greet people politely instead of jumping up on them.

Part 1: We’ll start the class with supervised play sessions so all the dogs get to meet each other and have fun.

Part 2: We’ll discuss why dogs jump up to greet us; the use of management when guests come to the house, and how to set up interactions between our dogs and people who want to say hi when we are out and about, so that our dogs don’t jump up on them.

Part 3: We’ll train/practice with our dogs behaviors that are incompatible with jumping up, such as sitting, laying down and hand targeting.

Part 4: The pups will get to put their freshly practiced skills into action and meet several different humans without jumping up.

Part 5: We’ll wrap up the class and leave a few mins for Q&A.

Bonus: You’ll receive a follow-up email with written notes & handouts you can practice with.
